Stanley A. Rothman

Stanley A. Rothman, 92, of Colonia, passed away on January 21, 2026, at Willow Springs Rehab in Brick Twp. He was born in Jersey City on February 26, 1933. Stanley was a former High School Teacher and Guidance Counselor and Administrator for the New Jersey Board of Education. He was an active member at Temple Ohev Shalom in Colonia and the Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms in Hawley, PA.

Stanley was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Rothman, in 2023.

He is survived by a son, Daniel Rothman, and his wife Sharon, of Atlantic Highlands; two daughters, Reena DeSimone, and her husband, Joseph, of Lanoka Harbor; and Judi Osbahr, and her husband, Robert, of Old Bridge; seven grandchildren: Michelle, Crissie, Matthew, Ryan, Hannah, Casey, and Dylan; three great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Raelyn, and Hudson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm, Friday, January 23, 2026, in Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
