Nancy L. Covert

Nancy L. (Brodbeck) Covert, age 68, of Spring Grove, passed away at home, with her family by her side, on April 4, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Lewis J. Covert, Jr. who passed away on May 9, 2011; together they shared over 24 years of marriage.
Nancy was born in York on January 26, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Ervin R. Brodbeck and Louise (Latshaw) Beckman. She attended William Penn High School and the Consolidated School of Business. Nancy later worked as a Clinical Analyst at WellSpan for over 20 years and retired in 2018. She was also a volunteer for Gift of Life and was an avid scrapbooker.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Tracey Glass and Christine Glatfelter and her husband Gabe; her sons Steven M. Brodbeck and his wife Samantha and Lewis J. Covert, III and his wife Alishia; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her stepfather Donald Beckman; her sisters Maryann Schrum and Charlotte Friese; her brothers Ervin Brodbeck, Jr., Robert Brodbeck, Randy Brodbeck; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her sister Linda Brodbeck.
A Memorial Service in celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 7:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant Donna Hoffman officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00PM -7:00PM at the funeral home.
