Sandra Throne

Sandra (Myers) Throne, age 86, passed away on January 13, 2026 at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Home. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Throne, who passed away in 2016; together they shared 56 years of marriage.
Sandra was born in Hanover Junction on February 2, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Dubbs) Myers. She graduated from Spring Grove Area High School Class of 1957. Sandra enjoyed camping, reading, and gardening. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Spring Grove and the Spring Grove Historical Society.
Sandra is survived by her children Robin Ramble and husband Larry and Timothy Throne and wife Nicky. She is also survived by her sister Doris Deardorff and her brother-in-law George Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her sister Gewn Smith; and her brother Richard Myers.
A memorial service in celebration of Sandra's life will be held on Friday January 23, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 S. Main St. Spring Grove PA 17362 with Pastor Alison Kurland officiating. The inurnment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery immediately following the service. A gathering will be held on Friday from 10:00-11:00AM at the church.
