Nancy Kay Divish, age 78, of Eagle, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born on April 13, 1945 in Ionia, the daughter of Robert and Irene (Trumble) Carpenter. Nancy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, enjoyed traveling, painting, and wine tasting. She retired from the State of Michigan- Department of Education after many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Marilyn Carpenter. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert "Bob" Divish; children, Steven (Christine) Divish of Zephyrhills, Florida, Scott (Kristina) Divish of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, and April (Thomas) Debler of Charlotte, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; one great-great-grandson on the way; sister, Mary Gale (Larry) Dingman; and brother, Robert J. Carpenter.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. The rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
