Nancy Jane Dutcher, 82, passed peacefully, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Delaware Court Healthcare Center in Delaware Ohio. Nancy was born on April 2, 1941 to parents Charles and Virginia Jane (Myers) Shannon in Columbus Ohio. Left to cherish her memory Nancy is survived by her sister Susan L. Lavender; nieces Nancy, Victoria, Debra, and Judi; and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Donald Dutcher; niece Sandra; and brother Charles D. Shannon Jr.
Described as feisty and even brutally honest at times Nancy was someone who could talk to anyone and everyone. Nancy was a social butterfly who loved to laugh and meet new people. Her social nature and personality were perfect for her job as a nail technician in her shop she ran from home, as an aid for the elderly and of lastly her work as a carrier for the post office which she retired from.
Nancy also spent her time enjoying crafts such as ceramics, watching tv like Fox News and basketball, and of course going out shopping. She loved the color purple and collecting dreamsicle figurines.
The family of Nancy would like to thank Tranquility Hospice for everything they did and the friendships that were made, thank you to Missy, Kate, Adam, and many others.
Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center is honored to serve the Dutcher Family.
