It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Marie (Chamberlain) Faubion on January 5, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on December 12, 1934, in Leander, Texas to Morris and Rachel Chamberlain. As a graduate of Leander High School (Class of 1953), she set forth to design her well-lived life as a typist for Western American Life Insurance Company in Austin. Then on January 28, 1956, at the First United Methodist Church of Leander, she married her fellow high school classmate and friend, Kenneth Franklin Faubion; whereupon they moved to Beeville, TX. Then abruptly in 1963, she and Kenneth returned to Leander after the death of her father-in-law, although now with two sons in tow. Not long thereafter, she joyfully welcomed a cherished daughter in 1972, thus completing her circle of love.
Nancy was a housewife, friend and confidant, and wherever her gaze rested, she flourished. She was actively engaged in the Garden Club, Young Homemakers of America, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, horticulture, or a turn about the dance floor in three quarter time. (She always loved a good waltz.) A lover of animals with a penchant for a good laugh, she made a world for her family - one of magic.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 68 years, Kenneth Franklin Faubion, 3 children: Kimon, Kern & Kara, and their spouses: Rene Faubion, Leo Katigbak and Mack Fulkes. Also surviving her are her treasured grandchildren Tasha Faubion, Daniel Kinnibrugh, Greg Faubion and Aiden Fulkes, their corresponding spouses, and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to profusely thank the outstanding caregivers at Riva Ridge Senior Care and Traditions Health Hospice for their omnipresent and loving attendance for the past 3.5 years.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 1:00p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park, Texas. As family and friends gather by the river of absence under the veil of grief, we release Nancy with arms outstretched, returning her to the Divine.
