Nancy R. Gauker

Nancy Gauker, 62, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 23, 2024. She was born December 23, 1962, to Norma and Byron Gauker in Dayton, Ohio. 

Nancy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her two sons: Joshua (Lin) and Justin (Leann); five grandchildren: Anna, Claire, Elliott, Mary Ryan, and Norah; siblings: John (Beth) and Wilma; as well as nieces and nephews. 

Nancy graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1981. She worked at Day Air Credit Union and Ernst Concrete for much of her career, and remained in the surrounding Dayton area in her retirement. 

Nancy enjoyed doting on her animals, playing cards, and listening to music (John Denver and Josh Groban were favorites). Above all else, Nancy most cherished time spent with loved ones as well as swapping stories about her sons and beloved grandchildren. 

A memorial service will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424. The family will gather with friends and family for one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 pm.
