Nancy Carter Goodwill previously of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sarasota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 24, 2022.
She was dearly loved by her husband of 67 years, Roy E Goodwill Jr, who is previously deceased; her three daughters and their husbands Chris Romer (Denny), Amy Sullivan (Greg) and Mandy Fortier (Tim) and her five grandchildren; Alison and Zach Romer, Kevin and Emily Fortier and Nathan Sullivan.
Nancy graduated from University of Michigan in 1952. She had a radio show there which she loved producing. She never visited the U of M student union because they required women to enter through the back door – not the front.
She was a beautiful painter, conversationalist and soul. She had a fun, glowing way of being and an infectious laugh. She will be dearly missed by her friends at Bay Village and the Landings.
Nancy was born on April 23, 1930, nearly 92 years old.
A memorial service will be held on May 20, 2022, at 10:00am, at Bay Village, 8400 Vamo Road, Sarasota, FL 34231.
