Nancy Y. Gunning Guido, 89, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, of Kingston NY, formerly of Manhattan, NY, passed away on January 6th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manhattan on September 18th, 1935, daughter of Eve Cotter and John J. Gunning Sr. 

At the age of 14 Nancy moved to Eddyville, NY, with her mother and stepfather. Nancy attended Kingston Consolidated Schools, graduating from Kingston High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Ralph S. Guido, shortly after graduating high school. Ralph passed away in 1990 after 36 years of marriage. 

She worked and volunteered at Golden Hill Nursing Home and retired from Citizens Bank in Kingston, but nothing was as important as raising her four sons. Nancy and Ralph lived in East Kingston where they raised their family for many years. 

Nancy is survived by her three sons, Gary (Kathleen) Guido of Tillson, NY, Thomas (Lynn) Guido of St. Petersburg, FL, and Matthew (Tricia) Guido of Mount Dora, FL, as well as 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her son, Robin Guido who passed away in 1997, and her siblings, Mary Beth Rawls, John J. Gunning, Jr., and Thomas J. Gunning.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday January 12, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday January 13, 2025, at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston, NY 12401. The graveside service will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingston, NY

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital at www.St.Jude.org or the Ulster County SPCA at www.UCSPCA.org A tribute for Nancy can be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.
