Nancy L. Jahn, age 72, of Canton, formerly Peoria, passed away at 1:35 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Farmington Village Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Born December 28, 1951, in Peoria, a daughter to Joseph and Anne (Marion) Righi. She was raised and educated in Peoria, graduating from Manuel High School with the Class of 1970. She worked in customer service for Affina for 10 years. Nancy was a former parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, spending time with her family and helping others. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include two daughters: Stacey Jahn and Carrie Jahn both of Canton; three granddaughters: Marissa Fields of Canton, Monique Fields of Wilder, KY, and Ciara Wallace of Canton; two great-grandsons: Caius Smith and Louis Simmons both of Canton; two brothers: Ray (Pat) Righi of Quincy, IL and Robert (Chuck Purtscher) Righi of Peoria; and four sisters: Janet McDonald of Canton, Julie Figueora of California, Anita (Bert) Avery of Canton and Annette (Albert) Purtle of Hanna City.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Joseph Righi and one sister Sharon Gomes.
Graveside services will be held Thursday in St. Mary Cemetery in West Peoria.
