Nancy L. Knerr, 91, passed away peacefully in her Berkshire Heights residence surrounded by her family on Monday, January 26, 2026. On November 29, she celebrated 73 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Robert L. Knerr.
Born in Reading to the late Russell and Sarah (Keller) Moser, Nancy attended Reading School District. She was a devoted homemaker who poured her heart into caring for her family. The best wife and mother, Nancy was blessed with patience; a kind, nurturing ear; and excellent cooking skills.
An avid reader of the Bible, her faith in Jesus Christ was a constant source of comfort and guidance. She cherished sharing moments with her family, enjoying activities such as fishing, crabbing, and boating with her husband. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Robert; daughters: Ellen M. Maslar, wife of David, of Kutztown; Karen L. Harbster, wife of Kevin, of Spring Twp.; and Marjorie L. Kline, wife of Lawrence, of Wernersville; grandchildren: Valorie Thompson, wife of Taylor; Robert John Maslar; Carly Mount, wife of Daniel; Tyler Kline, partner of Nicole Renninger; and Katie Locke, wife of Jared; and great grandchildren: Emma, Cameron, Adrien, Milo, Felix, and one more expected. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Shalters of Bethlehem. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and Russell Moser, and sister, Marilyn Mengel.
Nancy's nurturing spirit and warmth will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
