Nancy Knight Obituary
Nancy Girton Knight, 81 of Mason, passed away on March 10, 2025. Born to Francis and Helen (nee Bishop) Girton on June 9,1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Nancy was born and raised in the Mason area her entire life. A devoted member of the community, the Mason Historical Society and Mason High School. She worked many years as a library aide at Mason High School and gave countless hours to the community through her volunteering. She made friends for life living in Mason and always remained close to them.
Nancy had a kind heart, and a contagious and bubbly personality. She wanted the people she was surrounded by to have the most joyful time. She wanted people to smile and laugh in her presence.
Nancy took time to enjoy the simple things in life and that is what made her so special to so many people.
Preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Helen Girton.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glenn Knight Jr, children, Glenn (Jenni) Knight III, Joy (Alex Polykarpov) Knight and Sara (Ian Melzer) Knight, grandchildren, Alexis Polykarpov, Nathan Knight, Julia Polykarpov, Spencer Knight, Hudson Melzer and Croslie Melzer, siblings, William (Martha) Girton, Janine (Randy) Hurley and James (Nancy) Girton and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 17th from 5:30-7:30pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18th at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Mason Historical Society.
