Nancy Kay Kraus passed away on August 13, 2025, at her residence surrounded by family. Born to Oscar and Helga Hall on April 21, 1960, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. As a young child, Nancy's family moved from Nebraska to Michigan, before settling in Sonoma County. Upon graduating high school, she created a career for herself by starting her own accounting and bookkeeping business. Nancy had a passion for helping others. She always made herself available in any way possible. In her free time, Nancy loved to make her own jewelry, play the slot machines at local casinos, and bake. She would perfect any baked good she could find and share them with friends and family at gatherings.
Nancy is survived by her husband Peter Kraus, siblings Kathy Sosa, Mary Makaiwi, Bill Hall and brother-in-law Wally Sosa. Per her wishes, no services will be held.
