Nancy Lanctot Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors - Utica on Apr. 8, 2024.
Nancy Lanctot, beloved wife of the late Gerald, passed away at the age of 77. She is survived by her children Jim (Sheri) Lanctot, Michelle (Mark) Graham, and Mike (Kelle) Lanctot, and will be remembered fondly as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Nancy was the proud grandmother of Andrew, Joshua, Julianne, Suzi (Dave), Michael (Morgan), Joe, Allie (Noah), Aaron, Hannah, and cherished great-grandchildren Landon, Reese, Aria, Myles, Brinly and Logan. Her family meant the world to her and she found her greatest joy in spending time with them. Throughout her life, Nancy was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she devoted much of her time and energy. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her involvement within the church community, where she found solace and purpose. Nancy had a nurturing spirit and was known affectionately as "Nana" to many. She touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and compassion. As a latchkey director for over 20 years, she provided guidance and care to numerous children, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Nancy's loving and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for her loved ones. Nancy's family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, April 11th, from 2-8pm, at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 45160 Van Dyke Ave, Utica, MI, on Friday, April 12th. She will lie instate at 10am until the time of the service at 11am. Donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Nancy's honor.
