Nancy Anne Morrow Lane, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 25, 2025. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Junior Eugene Morrow and Mary Jane Heath Morrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Celestina Stephenson; her sister, Karen Mitchem; and her brother, Wayne Morrow.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband, Daryl Ernest Lane; her children, Mary Barneycastle (James) and Monica Stephenson; her grandchildren, Toni Lane, Sebastian Barneycastle, Roman Bacallao, and Victor Bacallao; her great-grandson, Reed Haas; her brother, Terry Morrow; her sister, Rebecca Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a devout Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to sit outside and enjoy the flowers planted by her and her husband. She also loved the beach and was known as an amazing cook, famous for her delicious biscuits. Her infectious laugh always made her the life of the party. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Services for Mrs. Lane will be private. Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is caring for Mrs. Lane's family.
