Nancy Anne Link, born on October 31, 1962, in Athens, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, in Roanoke, Virginia. A cherished mother, loving wife, and devoted sister, Nancy’s journey through life was vibrant and filled with devotion to her family and an enduring spirit of nurturing.

Nancy's education was a testament to her dedication and ambition. She graduated from Federal Hocking High School in Stewart, OH, before pursuing higher education. She earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ, laying a strong foundation for the future.

Throughout her life, Nancy moved many times alongside her military husband, Elton William Link. Together, they created a loving home, spending five years in Manahawkin, NJ, before settling in Newfoundland, PA, seven years ago. Her life was enriched by the love and laughter of her family, and she was known for her unwavering devotion to raising her children and being present for every milestone.

Nancy's hobbies reflected her creative spirit; she found joy in gardening, especially with her grandchildren, arts and crafts, antiquing, and shopping. Traveling with Elton was among her favorite experiences, and the memories they shared form a tapestry of joy and discovery. Most notably, Nancy was passionate about animals, taking pride in rescuing many throughout her lifetime.

In addition to her beloved husband, Elton, Nancy is survived by her daughter Jess Chase and her partner Jarad Rutko of Manahawkin, NJ and her sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Abby Martens of Estell Manor, NJ, and Jaymes and Jessica Martens of Richmond, TX, She is also mourned by her sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Scott Mescher, her brother, Mike Niggemeyer, and her mother-in-law, Barbara Link. She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of her eight grandchildren Tyler, Zoe, Gage, Logan, Dixie, Taylor, Jack and Wyatt and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Buchanan Niggemeyer and her father, Neil Niggemeyer, who she carried in her heart throughout her life. She will also be united with her two Angel grandchildren who she never got to meet.

A graveside service to honor Nancy's life will take place on July 7, 2025, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Ave. in Newtown, PA, starting at 10:30 AM.

As we remember Nancy Anne Link, we celebrate a life defined by love, family, and a commitment to compassion. Her spirit will live on in the cherished memories of those who were touched by her kindness and grace.
