Nancy Lou Lucabaugh of York, PA fell asleep in death on March 24, 2024 at the age of 87. She was born to the late Harry and Mary Redding (Fake), March 31, 1936, in York PA. Nancy is survived by her, Sons Mark (wife Lisa) of Dover; Michael (wife Wendy) of Yorkanna; Preston Doyle (wife Mary); Daughters Linda Hess (husband Michael): Judith Crush of Dover, and grandchildren Thomas Crush, Todd Crush, Jennifer Doyle, Jason Doyle, Nathan Doyle, Ashley Lucabaugh, Derick Lucabaugh, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death in June 1997 by Carroll Eugene Lucabaugh, her loving husband of 39 years. Also preceding her in death were brothers Harry Jr; Jim; and Charlie.
Nancy began working at Danskin in the 1950's and retired from there in 2003. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed camping, the beach, spending time with family and friends, jewelry making, crossword puzzles. Her kind ways and sense of humor will be missed by all. She had a strong faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses which she enjoyed sharing with others. Some Bible verses that brought her hope were: Psalm 145:16; Psalm 37:29; Revelation 21:3-5.
A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on April 13, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2601 Bannister St, West Manchester Township, PA 17408.
