It is with great sadness to share Nancy Leonard Mason, 86, passed away on March 20, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Nancy embodied strength, generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness. She was born on April 5, 1938 in Taunton, MA.
Family, and friends who became family, were of the utmost importance to Nancy, and she had a gift of bringing loved ones together. Favorite memories of Nancy include vacations with family and friends, celebrations and holiday gatherings she hosted, happy hours with neighbors, and Friday night dinners. Nancy was also a devoted member of the James P. Wilmot Foundation Board of Directors for many years.
Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Elwood and Christina Leonard; brothers, Elwood Jr., Donald, Lloyd, Harry, and David; sisters, Ruth, Elizabeth, and Norma. She is survived by her four sons, Joseph (Sarah), Jeffrey (Nicole), Dr. James, and Jerod. She leaves her wonderful grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr., Alexandra, Lindsey, Christian, and Kayleigh; great grandchildren, Jayde and Hayley. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at St. Louis Church in Pittsford on Saturday April 12th at 10:30am with reception immediately following.
