Nancy C. Morehart

Nancy C. Morehart, age 90, of Canal Winchester, passed away on April 1, 2025, under the care of Absolute Hospice at AlterCare of Canal Winchester.
Nancy was born on September 9, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Marvin and Anne (Doering) Canada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Calvin, in 2010; sisters Marilyn Denman and Jean Snider; and sons-in-law Al Parker and Paul Peck.
Surviving are daughters Suzann Peck, Melissa Parker, and Rebecca (Kevin) Hawkins; grandchildren Sara (Mike) Duncan, Jean (John) Handley, Katie (Josh) Hornik, Laura Hawkins, Holly Hawkins, and Matt Hawkins; five great grandchildren; brother Daniel Canada; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Nancy worked over 35 years as a manager and buyer of cosmetics at J.C. Penney's at the Eastland Mall, but she always prioritized her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were the love of her life. She enjoyed many years of travel and adventure through the continental United States, as well as Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and Mexico. She and Calvin enjoyed their classic cars. Local trips to Amish Country and reading novels kept Nancy happy.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 10-11 AM at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, where a funeral will be held at 11 AM.
