It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our mom, grandma, great grandma, great-great grandma; Nancy Morris, as she graduated from this life on April 10, 2024.

Nancy was born December 13, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Edith May Beard and Wilbur Remington Dean.  Because of their age at the time, Nancy was put up for adoption. Her adopted parents were George Lawrence Rude and Marjorie Mae Farnsworth Rude. Her adopted father passed away when she was four. Her mom remarried in 1948 to Lawrence L. Peterson.  The little family moved to California where Nancy grew up.  In 1953 she married Oscar Frank Brower. They had three children: Linda Mae, 1954; Debra Marie 1956; and Todd Randall 1958. Frank and Nancy divorced about 1961. Nancy worked as a personal secretary at Richie Electronics, for many years. Nancy’s adopted mom passed away October 11, 1964. Nancy married and divorced two other times. She finally found her soulmate; William August Morris and they married October 10 1982. They moved to Stockton and managed a mobile home park. They then moved to Reno, NV where they also managed a mobile park. When they retired, they moved into a home in Sparks, NV.  William passed away Sept. 5, 2016. Nancy lived with various family members after the death of William, but settled in Logan, Utah with her daughter; Debbie. She knew that Debbie needed her because Debbie’s husband had vascular dementia. So, she would watch after him while Debbie worked. She was a great comfort when Debbie’s husband passed away.

She loved camping, boating, fishing, and golfing. When her children were young, she would make their clothes. She was a very independent woman. In between husbands she always made sure that her and her children lived in a house.  She raised her children with good work ethics, manners, and respect.

She is survived by her children; Linda Bear, Debbie Crook, and Todd (Terri) Fischer, 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband William, Son-in-law Mark, grandson, Jeremiah, and her parents.

The family thanks Aegis for the great hospice care they provided and Maple Springs for caring for her for the last few hours of her life.
