Nancy Ann Myers, a beloved member of the community and a cherished family member, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Byram, Mississippi, at the age of 85. Born on December 7, 1939, in Scott County, Mississippi, Nancy spent her childhood and most of her adult life in Forest, Mississippi, before relocating to Byram a year and a half ago.

Nancy was a dedicated member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest, where she formed lasting friendships and actively participated in quilting sessions with her church ladies. Her love for flower gardening brought beauty to her life, and she found joy in caring for her fur baby, LadiByrd.

For thirty years, Nancy contributed her talents in the workforce, having worked with Sunbeam, Hughes Aircraft, and Raytheon. Her commitment and hard work throughout her career left a lasting impact on her colleagues.

Nancy's legacy continues through her loving family. She is survived by her son, Donald Myers, and his wife Tammy of Pearl, MS, as well as her daughter, Mary Ann Myers, of Byram, MS. Nancy also took great pride in her three great-grandchildren, Kolten Risher, Parker Kennedy, and Madisyn Kennedy, and she is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews and an adopted by love granddaughter, Brittney Gaskamp.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Myers; her parents, James and Mary Lou Haralson; her son, Roger Earl Myers; her granddaughter, Kayla Myers Kennedy; and her siblings and their spouses, Robert Haralson (Louise), Billy Joe Haralson (Jean), Darlene Goss (Jerry), and James Gray  Haralson (Diane). The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to her niece who was more like a sister, Mary Grace Schwab, who spent much time caring for her before she moved to Byram, and to April McCool for her unwavering care and companionship during the last few months.

Visitation will be held on April 28, 2025, at Ephesus Baptist Church in Forest from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 3:30 PM and concluding at 4:30 PM. The location for both events is 3535 Ephesus Rd, Forest, MS 39074. In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Ephesus Baptist Church Quilters Club.

As we remember Nancy Ann Myers, let us celebrate her life filled with love, dedication, and countless cherished memories. May she rest in peace.
