Nancy Niles

Nancy Ann Niles, 75, of Carman, IL died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Oak Lane Nursing and Rehab in Stronghurst.
Born June 8, 1947, in Burlington, IA, she was the daughter of Andrew and Martha Rehman. She married Thomas Baker and had four children. They later divorced. On October 26, 1990, she married Wayne Niles in Burlington.
She was a graduate of Burlington Notre Dame then attended SCC and the University of Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree.
Nancy was a Medical Technologist Supervisor for Burlington Medical Center then Great River Medical Center for over 30 years.
Nancy was a member of Divine Mercy Parrish and the Carthage Lake Club. She was an avid sports fan, and loved golf and playing bridge. She loved to support her children and grandchildren in their sports, musicals and school events. Nancy loved the outdoors, especially spending time at the cabin on the Mississippi River with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Niles of Carman, IL; three daughters, Meghan (Corey) Stephens, Molly Baker, and Melissa Warner all of Burlington; son, Michael (Audra) Baker of Burlington; four step-children, Marion Niles of Decorah, IA, Todd Niles of West Burlington, Sherril (Dan) Siefken of Burlington, and Mike Niles of Burlington; 13 grandchildren, Kathryn, Taryn and Shay Stephens, Layla and Chesney Green, Madelyn Mosena, Tatum Warner, Emersyn, Owen and Gavin Baker, Michael Niles, Niles Siefken and Jennifer Niles; six siblings; Mary Jane Dideriksen of Florida, Kay Conaway of Florida, Rick (Linda) Rehman of Burlington, Bob (Dia) Rehman of Burlington and Betty Clare Rehman of Springfield, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with the family to receive friends on September 24, 2022 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. John the Baptist Church.
The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Niles will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Divine Mercy Parish- St. John the Baptist Church with Father James Flattery as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the Divine Mercy Parish - St. John's cafeteria following the burial.
Memorials have been established for the Alzheimer's Association and Notre Dame Booster Club.
