Nancy Nowicki

Nancy Jane Nowicki, 86, of Kimball Twp., passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023.
Born on August 4, 1937, in Richmond, the daughter of Henry Sr. and Eleanor (Zychski) Kolasinski.
Nancy's life was one of devotion to her family and her faith. She married the love of her life, Theodore, and celebrated 60 years together. They raised four wonderful children: Duane (Carol) Kolasinski of Kimball, Ted (Todge) Nowicki Jr. of Kimball, JoDee (James) Stipp of Marysville, Jill (Ronald) Campbell of Port Huron and Sherry (Jay) Wicker of Harrison. She also held a special place in her heart for her caregiver and friend Jane Chancey. Nancy's family was the centerpiece of her life, and she cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
Nancy was the beloved sister to Phyllis Ellison of Columbus Twp., Doris (Rudi) Klemm of Kimball Twp., and Anita Kolasinski of Columbus Twp. She was preceded in death by her sisters Elaine Kolasinski and Sally Copenhagan, and her brother Henry Kolasinski Jr., all of whom she remembered with deep affection.
Nancy attended St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville. She loved shopping, finding joy in the simple pleasure of choosing gifts for her loved ones. She loved celebrating holidays and parties with her family. Nancy loved all animals especially her poodles. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and Polka festivals.
As we say goodbye to Nancy Jane Nowicki, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a heart that was given freely to all. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her spirit will continue to inspire us every day. Nancy's presence will be deeply missed, but the impact of her love and kindness will be felt for generations to come.
Memorial services will be Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center, 4521 Ravenswood Road, Kimball, MI 48074. Family and friends will gather for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in The Lindke Hall at Grace Memorial.
