Obituary of Nancy Pile
Nancy Pile, age 86 of Pennsauken, passed away on July 12, 2025 at Complete Care Kressonview in Voorhees, New Jersey. She was born in the Delair section of Pennsauken on January 22, 1939 to the late John and Marion (nee Ebright) Brooke.
Beloved wife of the late Donald T. Pile; Devoted mother of Cynthia Rinaldi, Ross Pile and Michael Pile. Mother in law to Richard Rinaldi, Patricia Pile (nee Wirth), Kathleen Pile (nee Sitkowski). Loving Grandmother to Michelle Rinaldi, Michael Rinaldi, Samuel Pile, Sean Pile, Katherine Pile and the late Scott Pile. Sister to the late siblings; John Brooke, Robert Brooke, William Brooke and Dorothy Lauro (nee Brooke).
Nancy worked at Handel and Company in Pennsauken until the business ceased operations in the late 1990's. Over the next few decades, Nancy lived in Berkeley Heights, Mullica Hill and at the Pennsauken Towers. In her early years she was an active member of the PYAA youth baseball program and the Saint Peter's youth football program.
Known by all who met her for her deep compassion and kindness, Nancy had a rare gift for making those around her feel truly special. Nancy's warmth shone brightest in the quiet, thoughtful moments that defined her character-like the time she sent a handwritten thank-you card to the principal of her grandson's high school, expressing how meaningful and well-done she found the graduation ceremony. It was a simple gesture, but so deeply Nancy-gracious, attentive, and filled with genuine appreciation for others.
She adored her grandchildren and lit up whenever she was with them. Whether she was cheering them on from the stands, listening to their stories with full-hearted attention, or devoting entire days to make sure they were entertained and happy, Nancy made sure they felt loved beyond measure.
Her legacy is one of love, gentleness, and an unwavering belief in the importance of showing up for the people in her life. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her including her friends at Complete Care Kressonview.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken.
