Nancy Ann Ray, age 82, of Wesleyville, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on November 9, 1940, daughter of the late James and Bertha Stefko Piszker.

Nancy was a graduate of Sykesville High School and a member of St. James R.C. Church. She worked as a cook in the cafeteria at St. James School, and was a server in the resident's dining room at St. Mary's Home East. Nancy enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating cakes for birthdays and weddings, but she cherished spending time with her family.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Ray; four children, William "Billy" Shields, Melissa "Missy" Ray, James "Jimmy" Ray (Jackie) and Kathleen "Kathy" Benim (Scott); one granddaughter, Jamisyn Ray; one brother, Rev. James Piszker; and one sister, Barbara Piszker.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Saturday from 5 pm until the time of the Funeral Service there at 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society, "Kickin it for K-Ray Team", 2115 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or Shriner's Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
