Nancy L. Richards

NORFOLK- Funeral services for Nancy L. Richards, 72, a resident of 19 North Main Street, Norfolk, will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Rev. Raymond Moreau presiding. Burial will be held in the Visitation Cemetery following the services. Nancy passed away on October 9, 2024 at the Albany Medical Center. Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert "Bob", Norfolk; her son, John T. and Billi Jo Richards, Norfolk and her grandchildren. Nancy is also survived by a sister, Kathy and Rob Rice, Conklin, NY as well as her extended family. Nancy was extremely close to family members Nina Molnar, Sharon McCabe and Joe Molnar. Along with her parents, Nancy was pre-deceased by a sister, Patricia Bailey.
Born in Potsdam, NY on October 1, 1952 to the late John S. and Helen Clark Molnar, Nancy graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School, and worked as a secretary for UUP at SUNY Potsdam for many years. She married Robert G. Richards on April 29, 1977. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed relaxing in the pool, reading and working on cross word puzzles. In her earlier years, Nancy enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well.
