Robert Queor Obituary

Born on December 6, 1938, in Norwood, New York, he was the son of the late Emeril A. Queor and Dorothy Narrow. On August 3, 1963, Robert married Janet Gonyea. Janet later passed on September 20, 2013. Robert honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. Following his military service, he dedicated 37 years to Reynolds Metals in Massena, where he worked as a Cast House Charger. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 7321 and the American Legion, both in St. Regis Falls and JC's in Norwood. A man who enjoyed the outdoors, Robert found great joy in hunting, fishing, traveling with his family and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his three children: his son, Robert and Lori Queor Jr, Pall Mall, TN; his two daughters, Sharon Cofer and her companion Jeffrey Lanning, Norwood and Angela and Scott Garrow, Norfolk. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Heather & Mike Barclay, Michael Osoway, Nicolas Queor and Ashlinn Queor and two great-grandchildren, Ava Barclay and Colton Barclay. Robert was predeceased by his brother, Donald Queor and his sister, Mary Fuller. Memorial donations can be made to any local Alzheimer's Association and memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com. The Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk is serving the family of Robert E. Queor Sr.
