NORFOLK - Graveside services for Sally E. McComber, 90, a resident of 1881 Sober Street, Norfolk, will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 6 p.m. in the Raymondville Cemetery. Sally passed away on July 22, 2025 at the Albany Medical Center with family at her side. Sally is survived by two daughters, Marsha and Richard Whalen, TN and Carolyn and Joseph Wolfe, Norfolk; her two beloved grandchildren, Sonya and Kyle Cryderman and Emily and Erik Losey and four great-grandchildren, Evie Losey, Easton Losey, Wyatt Cryderman and Zoey Cryderman; a brother, Gary Debien, Piercefield, NY and two sisters, Marilyn and Tom Finnin, Norfolk and Carolyn and Ira Greene, FL as well as several nieces and nephews. Sally was pre-deceased by her parents Floyd and Doris, her husband Earl, a son, Phillip and four brothers, Richard (Dick), Ronnie, Roger and Timmy.

Born in Piercefield, NY on May 2, 1935 to the late Floyd and Doris Fournier Debien, Sally married Earl McComber on May 9, 1953. Earl later passed away in 1999. Sally worked as a waitress for many years at Sabads Restaurant in Norfolk and also worked at the Thom McAn Shoe Store and the Warner Brothers Corset factory in Massena. In her free time, Sally enjoyed helping at the Norfolk American Legion as she was a member of the ladies auxiliary, watching the Price is Right and most of all, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial donations in Sally's memory can be made to the Norfolk Rod and Gun Club for youth programs and memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com . The Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk is serving the family of Sally E. McComber.
