Eugene William McComber JR. passed away peacefully on December 14th, 2024 at the Saratoga Hospital. He was 77 years old
Born on January 20, 1947, in Albany, NY, he was the son of the Late Eugene William McComber SR. and Mary Hilton McComber. Eugene Proudly serviced in the United States Air Force from 1966-1972
He married his wife Anna Noreen Munier McComber on September 25th, 1971 at St. Mary's Church in Ballston Spa, NY. They were married for over 53 years.
Mr. McComber worked for General Electric in Schenectady, NY for over 30 years and later worked for Knolls Atomic Labs in Milton, NY. He was always known for his great work ethics.
He was an avid Yankees fan as well as the Denver Broncos. He was also an avid collector of both baseball and football cards. In his leisure he enjoyed working on puzzles and listing to music, especially the Beatles, John Lennon and Harry Chapin. He will be remember as a very nice and gentle man with a great sense of humor.
Mr. McComber was one of seven children
Survivors include his wife Anna McComber of Saratoga Springs, NY, a son, Charles McComber of Saratoga Springs, NY and many nieces' nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday December 23, 2024 at the Tunison Funeral Home 105 Lake Ave. Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. There will be a memorial service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home as well.
Burial will be at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Rd Saratoga, NY following the services at 1:00 pm Online remembrances can be made at the www.tunisonfunearlhome.com
