Nancy Singleton Obituary
Nancy married William Jones on May 12, 1956, and shared 39 years of marriage before his passing. She then met and later married Gerald Singleton on September 6, 2003, sharing 21 years of marriage.
Nancy was a homemaker. She loved caring for her family and spending time with them.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Gerald Singleton, her daughters; Becky Edison and Christine (Scott) Verkler, her step-sons- Gregory (Veronica) Singleton and Colin (Christine) Singleton, grandchildren; Jessica (Tim) Baker and Joseph (Brooke) Verkler, step grandchildren; Abby (Adam), Sarah (Michael), Kyle (Chelsey), and Jake (Sarah). Also surviving are many great-grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; William Jones, stepdaughter, Jackie Singleton, and her siblings; Zola, Martha, Mary Jo, Richard, Bill, Bob, Jim, and Jerry.
Visitation for Nancy will be held from 10am-12pm on Thursday September 19, 2024, at the Palmer Funeral Home-North Liberty Chapel, 202 N. Main St. North Liberty. A funeral service will begin at 12pm. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy's name may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
