Rosietta Diana Gadson-Jennings was born on February 5, 1963, to Mildred and Andrew Gadson Sr in South Bend, Indiana. Di, as she was affectionately known, was the 7th of 10 children.

Diana attended Benjamin Harrison Elementary, Washington High School, Ball State, Bethel and Oakland City Universities. Her life was also filled with the love of Ilia King-Jennings and Jaylen Jennings. Diana loved her family and showered them with love whenever she could.

Williams and Deacon Andrew Gadson Sr. She loved God and served as the Sunday School Secretary, Church Financial Secretary and was a member of the Trustee Board at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She later united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Lee Montgomery where she served as the church Announcing Clerk, Trustee Board Member and Usher. Upon moving to Indianapolis, IN she joined Eastern Star under the leadership of Jeffrey Johnson, Sr.

Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Birdie Mae and Isaac Childress Sr, Rosietta and Daniel Gadson, her father, Andrew Gadson, Sr., her brothers Andrew Jr and Floyd (Yolanda) Gadson.
