Nancy Ellen Straka

Nancy Ellen Straka, 73, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died at 7:28 pm, Monday, November 24, 2025, at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born on December 5, 1951, in Wabash, Indiana, to Paul E. and Mary (Flenar) Grandstaff.
Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Manchester High School and received her BS from Manchester College in 1975. Nancy grew up in North Manchester, where she lived until 1981. She was a social worker and Patient Safety Assistant at Parkview Randallia in Fort Wayne. Nancy was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Manchester. She was a Pepsi fan, and enjoyed reading and walking, but especially loved playing with her dog Teddy.
She is survived by two sons, Lucas (Daisy) Straka and Benjamin (Racheal) Straka, both of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, Levi Straka, Ethan Straka, Taelor Harrell, Chance Straka, Layne Straka, Liam Straka, and Lucas Straka; and her siblings, Dan (Carolyn) Grandstaff of North Carolina, and Rebecca Kilgore of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, David Grandstaff.
Services will be at a later date with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service.
