William "Bill" Lee Snep, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 11, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on July 29, 1942, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Robert and Mary (Norris) Snep, Bill lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

Bill graduated from Manchester High School in 1960 before embarking on a career that would allow him to support his passion for farming. He worked at OEC in Warsaw for several years and was employed at Shepherd's Chevrolet in North Manchester for four years. However, it is farming that brought him true joy.

Bill married Anita (Burkhart) Snep on February 11, 1962. Together, they shared sixty-four wonderful years, creating a life filled with love and adventure. Bill and Anita had a passion for traveling, often enjoying cruises and trips to Holmes County, Ohio.

Family was everything to Bill; he cherished the time spent with his two sons, Phil and Doug, and took immense pride in attending numerous events for his grandchildren. In his eyes, they could do no wrong. Bill's strong will and hardworking nature shone through in all aspects of his life, particularly in his passion for gardening. A dedicated fan of Indiana University sports, he took pleasure in sharing his love for the team with those around him. Throughout his life, Bill remained connected to his faith as an early member of the Liberty Mills United Methodist Church.

The loving memory of William Lee “Bill” Snep will be forever cherished by his wife, Anita Snep, North Manchester; sons, Phil (Brenda) Snep and Doug (Dee) Snep, both of North Manchester; brother, Larry “Pete” (Marsha) Snep, North Manchester; sisters, Susie Snep, North Manchester; Janice (Dan) Sell, Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Cory (Haley) Snep, Rylie (Brady) Ousley, Derek (Cierra) Snep, Zach (Lori) Snep, Ellie (Nate) Walpole; and great-grandchildren, Brynlie, Jhett, Cason, Nash, Camden, and Gunner. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
