Nancy Toscanini, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on May 17, 1941, in Manhattan, New York to her parents Vincenzo and Laura. Nancy exemplified the virtues of kindness and care throughout her life, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Nancy dedicated a significant portion of her career to clerical work at Selden Pharmacy, where her meticulous nature and friendly demeanor made her a cherished colleague. Her commitment to her profession was mirrored by her dedication to her family, whom she loved dearly.
Survived by her son, Anthony Toscanini, Nancy also leaves behind her devoted sisters, Joanne Eyester, Michele Toscanini, and Madeline Scarola. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews who will carry forth her loving spirit. Nancy is predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony, by her brother Donald Scarola and by her parents Vincenzo and Laura Scarola.
Nancy's life will be honored through a visitation service held at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island on July 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Following the visitation, a Mass will be celebrated in her memory at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church in Coram on July 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
