Nancy Irene Ulrich

Nancy Ulrich, born on March 16, 1942, has passed from this life to the next on September 28, 2025.

A lifelong resident of the Akron area, she considered Highland Square home for over 50 years.

She was a diploma degree RN from Akron General, a community counselor at Portage Path Mental Health, and a charter member of Concord Singers, Summit Choral Society and Masters Singers, with a degree in vocal performance from the University of Akron.

Nancy's loving family includes husband of 56 years, Ron, son Keir (Janet), sister Joyce Piry (Al), grandchildren Alex, Zoie, Jimmy and Julie (Logan), and great granddaughters Maizie, Mia and Mikaila. The family wishes to thank the Bath Creek Estates staff and Crossroads Hospice for their professional care and the love and support provided by IHM lay ministers Liz Duarte and Mary Margaret Averill.

A memorial service (Funeral Mass) will be held at St. Sebastian Church, located at 476 Mull Ave, Akron, OH 44320, on Friday October 3, 2025 at 11:00 am. Family and friends may visit from 10-11 am before Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Musical Arts Series of St. Sebastian Parish or Master Singers (masterssingersinc.org).
