Nancy M Ward

Nancy Marie Ward, 89, of Bemus Point, New York, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was born on June 18, 1936, to Frances and Charles Ciccarella in Angola, New York. She graduated in 1954 from Lakeshore Central High School in Angola, New York. She married Charles "Chuck" Ward in 1958. She, Chuck and her two sons moved to the area in 1971.

Nancy worked for years as an office manager at MetLife in Jamestown. She carried out her work with dedication, integrity-marked by a reputation for dependability. Her life was grounded in devotion to her family. Above all, Nancy cherished being a grandmother and most recently a great grandmother.

She also loved her friends dearly and enjoyed time with them through Healthy Bones, TOPS and her church, St. Petes.

She was a member of the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club and the War Vets.

Nancy was a born shopper and could never pass on a pretty new purse or a fancy pair of shoes. She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and her boy "Joshie."

Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and her memory will live on in the hearts of many.

She is survived by her son, Barry Ward (Janet Ward), her 4 grandchildren (Brandon, Taylor, Kyle and Ethan) and her great grandson (Callum).

She is predeceased by her husband, Chuck and her son, Jay (Stephanie Ward).

Arrangements entrusted to Riccardi's Hubert Funeral Home.

Private graveside service will be held at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in Angola NY, and a celebration of life will be held sometime in June 2026.
