Nancy J. Warfel

HALIFAX - Nancy J. Warfel, age 82, of Halifax, PA died January 1, 2026, at Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.She was born on June 29, 1943 in Dauphin, PA the daughter of the late Edward C. Fetterhoff, Sr. and Thelma (Tice) Fetterhoff.
Nancy was married to the late Wesley Lee Warfel for 46 years.
Nancy was a 1962 graduate of Central Dauphin High School. She worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and worked as a bookkeeper Landis' in Halifax.
Nancy was a member of Clark's Valley Zion E.C. Church, Dauphin, the Carsonville Fire Company, the Halifax Fire Company, and the Farm Women Group No. 10.She enjoyed doing puzzles, and playing games on her kindle.
She is survived by her sister Shirley Shoop and her husband Paul of Halifax, and her brothers Edward C. Fetterhoff, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Dauphin, Larry Fetterhoff and his wife Linda of Palmyra, and Robert Fetterhoff and his wife Ruby of Dauphin, Joseph Fetterhoff and his wife Sharon of Dauphin, and many relatives on her husband's side along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son David, and her brother Rev. Carl Fetterhoff and his wife Beverly.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Clark's Valley Zion EC Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
