Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cranston Funeral Home on Mar. 12, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of "Nancy Catherine Weis." A woman of boundless faith, unshakable strength and immeasurable kindness. She left the world on March 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were blessed to have known her.
Nancy was a force of nature, fierce in her devotion to God, unwavering in her support of others; she was the heart of our family, the keeper of traditions, and the glue that held everyone together. Her laughter filled our lives with joy, her wisdom guided our steps, and her love wrapped around us like the warmest embrace. No sacrifice was too great, no dream of ours too small, her love was a lighthouse- constant, steadfast, guiding us through life's many storms.
Born in Portage, PA, on October 17, 1939, Nancy accomplished many achievements, including nearly forty years of work in the accounting department at Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY. After retirement and beyond her professional life, Nancy moved to Bridgeville, DE where she devoted countless hours to her local church, "Our Lady of Lourdes" in Seaford. She served as a faithful volunteer in the choir, prayer shawl ministry, and several local committees. Her deep faith and selfless service touched many lives, offering support, guidance, and love to her church family. In addition to Nancy's many passions, as well as her love of Hungarian cooking and gardening, she found her greatest joy in the times spent with family.
Nancy will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother, as she leaves behind her loving husband, Andrew Weis; daughter Susan Rindner and her husband Mitchell; son Gregory Ceccarelli and his wife Christina; stepson Christoper Weis and his wife Kelly. Grandchildren: Jennifer Browne and her husband Ross; Daniel Rindner and his wife Stephanie; Anthony Ceccarelli and his wife Lara; Nicholas Ceccarelli; Aidan Weis; Davey Wright. Great Grandchildren: Hayley Rindner, Cameron Rindner, Chase Browne and Mason Browne, plus many dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
We love you Mom, we will cherish and miss you for all our days; may you rest in God's eternal peace. Amen
