Nancy Wright (nee Knowles) of Mantua, Ohio, born February 22, 1958, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 67 at U.H. Geauga Medical Center after a fierce, but short-lived battle with her health. She was surrounded by her children and loving husband as she went home to Jesus. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Knowles and Martha Knowles (nee Case); brother, Dennis; and her first daughter, Jessica Mae Craemer. Beloved wife of Ralph Wright, devoted mother of Jaimy Craemer (Daniel Worley), Kimberly Craemer (Michael Rondo), Brian Craemer (Sara), and grandmother of Ella Adjei, Evie Adjei, Ethan Adjei, Caden Osborne, Violet Rondo, Arthur Craemer, Gilbert Craemer and Walter Craemer. Nancy also leaves behind Ralph's three children: Christopher Webber (Randi), Jonathan Wright (Molly), and Lucas Wright (Becca), and her seven brothers and sisters: William (Jan), Martha, (Charles Newman, deceased), Sally (William Shirley), Harold "Rusty", Robert Jr. (Cynthia), Cynthia (William Oler), and David (Ann), and dozens of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Nancy spent the past 17 years of her life with her devoted husband, Ralph, who was the light of her life and her best friend. Ralph brought Nancy a renewal of hope and joy that she truly deserved and she did the same for him. Nancy was "Nana" to her grandchildren and cared for all of them over the years, much of the time as dedicated caregiver, but always friend and playmate. Nancy was a loving and gracious person, always giving all she could to others and with a joyful heart. She loved her family with loyalty and quiet guidance, and she was always there for a chat, funny story, or just to listen. A devoted Catholic, Nancy was a member of St. Helen's Parish and lived a sacrificial life by always putting others before herself.
She will be greatly missed, though all who knew her will continue to celebrate her life and the blessings she brought so many.
The family will welcome visitors on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Murphy Funeral Home, 95 S. Franklin St. Chagrin Falls from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a brief service of remembrance beginning at 5:15 PM. The following morning on Wednesday, June 4 a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Helen's Parish in Newbury at 10:00 AM and will be immediately followed by a burial at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Chagrin Falls at 12 :00 PM.
