Nancy Ann Zurcher, 94, of Dubuque, IA died on July 11, 2025. A grave-side service for the family of Nancy will be held at Linwood Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 14.
Mrs. Zurcher was born on August 15, 1930, in Dubuque, IA. She was the daughter of Arnold and Agnes Riedi.
Nancy was raised in the Presbyterian faith and was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dubuque. Nancy married her husband John (Hans) Zurcher in 1951. They were married 47 years at the time of Hans's death in 1998. Nancy married Dale Seubert of Bloomington, MN in 2011.
Nancy is survived by her husband Dale Seubert of Bloomington, MN, sister Marilyn Hines of Washington State, stepson Michael (Beckie) Zurcher and son John (Shirley) Zurcher, both of Dubuque. Two daughters Heidi (Brian) Neely of Greenwood, IN and Lisa (Craige) Roberts of Nolanville, TX and her grandchildren, Tony, Amy, Samuel, Tracy, Katherine, Brenden, and Abby.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband John (Hans) Zurcher, her parents Arnold and Agnes Riedi, two brothers (Arnold and Paul Riedi) and sister (Arliss Riedi Pingle).
Nancy graduated from Senior High School in 1948 where she was on the Quill and Scroll, Current Problems Clubs, Yearbook, and the Student Council.
She was a life long member of the PEO Sisterhood, Friendship Force, and was on the Board of Directors of Bethany Home. Nancy loved to travel and visited many countries with her husband and family, including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Spain, Ireland, Great Britian, China, Japan, Thailand, Canada, and Mexico. But Switzerland was by far her favorite country which she visited multiple times due to her Swiss heritage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church in Dubuque, IA.
