Naomi Lee (Mobley) Wolfe, affectionately known to most as "Mamaw," passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love.
Born on February 21, 1939, daughter of the late Fred and Grace Mobley.
Naomi lived a vibrant life grounded in faith and family. In January of 1958, Naomi married the love of her life, Roy William Wolfe, Jr., after meeting him at the local roller arena, a storybook beginning to a beautiful journey together. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership. She is preceded in death by her best friend and sister, Mary (Mobley) Wright, and brother, Paul Mobley.
Together, Naomi and Bill raised four children who brought her immense pride: Gwen (Jack) Croxall, Tammie (Shaun) Reed, William (Beth) Wolfe, III, and Tracey Wolfe Hall.
Naomi's love and legacy grew through her grandchildren; Megan (Jon) Beagle, Brandon (Peyton) Reed, Nate (Stacey) Conley, Aaron (Ashley) Wolfe, Josh (Britney) Reed, Dustin (Chelsea) Wolfe, Jessica (Corey) Smith, and Breanna Hall-each of whom she loved dearly.
Her family tree continued to flourish with 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers- Dale Mobley, Fred Mobley, Willard Mobley, and Melvin Mobley. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Naomi was an avid bowler, and she was the first woman to bowl a 300 game at Tri-State Lanes, an accomplishment that symbolized her competitive spirit and enthusiasm for life. She found joy in camping, cheering at her grandkids' sporting events, and supporting family in everything they did. She rarely missed a game and was an avid Potter fan.
She also enjoyed having family picnics and swimming in their pool.
Naomi was a lifelong member of the First Free Methodist Church, where her faith guided her daily life and left a lasting impact on those around her.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, laughter, and strength.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pastor Dave Quillen for his faithful support, prayers, and house visits that brought comfort and peace to Naomi in her final days.
Naomi's request for cremation will be honored.
She will be cremated at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Crematory, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, 26062.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
