Narendrakumar Chimanlal Patel, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2024, in Lawrenceville, GA. Born on February 2, 1961, in Limbe, Malawi, Narendra lived a life marked by intelligence, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Narendra earned his degree in electronic engineering from the University of North London, a testament to his sharp intellect and passion for technology. He was an avid cricket player and chess enthusiast, known for his love of tinkering with electrical gadgets and a deep interest in nutrition. His appreciation for the outdoors was a cornerstone of his vibrant life.
As a business owner and entrepreneur, Narendra's determination and selflessness left an indelible mark on those who knew him. His family always felt proud, safe, and secure under his steadfast guidance, and he was a pillar of strength and support to them. His willingness to go out of his way for friends and family earned him the respect and admiration of his community.
Narendra was a mentor to younger members of his extended family, sharing his wisdom and fostering a strong sense of tradition and ancestral connection. His legacy of care, love, and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Narendra is preceded in death by his father, Chimanlal Rambhai Patel. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rohini Narendra Patel; his loving mother, Shantaben Chimanlal Patel; his cherished daughters, Monica Patel, Jasmine Patel, and Sareena Patel; and his dear brothers, Kishor Patel and Umesh Patel.
A funeral service will be held at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel from 1-4 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pcf.org) in memory of Narendra.
