It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely death of Mrs. Natalie Elena Gaston-Maldonado. Natalie lived in Port Jervis, NY and died Friday, March 15, 2024 at Westchester Medical Center. She was 28. She was born May 6, 1995 in New York City, NY the daughter of Edgar Gaston and Maydine Itwaru Gaston.
Natalie graduated from Port Jervis High School in 2013 where she met the love of her life Jonathan Maldonado. The high school sweethearts started dating in 2011 and were together for 8 years before being married on November 1, 2019 in a beautiful ceremony in Brooklyn, NY. They spent a total of 12 years together.
She worked as a Material Medical Handler for Crystal Run in Middletown, NY while attending college.
A family statement read: She was born a perfect Princess to her Father and Mother, and was blessed to find her Prince Charming and became a Queen to her King. Natalie Elena Gaston-Maldonado had a heart of gold, beautiful on the inside and even more so on the outside, an old soul, a light to everyone around her and who left a positive mark on those she came in contact with. Natalie was the best of all of us. We love her to infinity and beyond. We are devastated at her loss and will miss her for the rest of our lives. We are comforted knowing that Natalie is at peace, and with The Lord now and that this isn't truly goodbye. In the words of her family, "we'll see you soon."
She is survived by her beloved husband Jonathan Maldonado, parents Edgar and Maydine Gaston, and mother-in-law Kara Maldonado. She was also survived by her sister-in-law Kiana Pabon, her nephews Carter and Cooper Storms, her brothers-in-law Cecil Garner III and Anthony Garner, and her grandmother-in-law Nelida Abreu-Deliz. As well as her cousins Pauline, Sean, Iris, Bonita, Alicia, Prenita and many more.
