Natalie Jean Levesque
"Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother & sister"
Natalie Jean (Vincent) Levesque, 97, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her home with her son, Marc, by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter A. Levesque.
Natalie was born in Danville, PA on March 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Robert and Irene (Blue) Vincent. She was a graduate of Benton High School in Pennsylvania. Soon after graduation, Natalie, moved to Waterbury and started working as a waitress for Howland Hughes, where she met her husband, Peter. They started their life together and began to raise a family. Family and faith were the main purposes of her life. She enjoyed family gatherings and outings with her children, going to the beach in Bridgeport, boat rides at Highland Lake in Winsted, lobster rolls from Frankies, and bingo with her friends at the Immaculate. She was an exceptional baker and cook, she enjoyed sharing her recipes with her family and friends. She liked planting flowers in the yard, all types of arts and crafts like quilting, ceramics and making the Christmas wreaths and floral arrangements for the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. She enjoyed singing with her sons, nieces and aides. Natalie truly loved and cherished the quality time of being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with her prayers being said until her final hours; she was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Natalie leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, David Levesque of Harwinton, CT, Duane Levesque of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lyle Levesque and his wife, Carol of Monroe Township, NJ, Marc Levesque and Evelyn Bequary of Waterbury/Terryville, CT, Jeffrey Levesque and his wife, Marcy of Bethlehem, CT and Joseph Levesque and his wife, Colleen of Oakville CT. She also leaves her grandchildren, Carol (Anthony), David Jr. (Nicole), Christine (Jose), Emmalee, Rebecca, Alexis and Jocelyn, her three loving great grandchildren, Samantha, Bella and Anita, two brothers, Thomas Vincent of Puerto Rico and Spencer Vincent and his wife, Maryann, of Pennsylvania, her sister, Emily Curry of Danville, PA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Petey Levesque, brothers, Robert and James Vincent and sister, Marjorie Bassette.
Arrangements: Natalie's funeral will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
