Nathan Patrick Frye passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1956 to Claud and Vida Jo Frye. Nathan was the primary caregiver for his mother and did the cooking, cleaning, and any other odds and ends she needed help with. He did all this even after being diagnosed with cancer over 3 years ago and not telling a soul. Nathan loved being around the water, spending time at the Texas City Dike and on the Galveston Bay.
He is preceded in death by his father Claud Frye; two brothers: Charles Mann and Allen Frye; and sister Levie Reed. He was survived by his mother and sister, Linda Salles.
A memorial visitation for Nathan and his mother, Vida Jo Frye will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, Thursday March 13, 2025, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. A Memorial Service for Nathan and Vida will follow at 11:00am, with Brother Harold Tipping officiating.
