It has been years since your passing but I still think of it to this day, and in truth we all do. Your smiles and laughter touched our hearts in a way that will always be with us. If I knew it was our last hug I would have never let go.

I had Nathan in my fourth grade homeroom. He was a quiet, sweet boy with a tender heart. He was a kind human being and it is so sad that he is no longer with us.

Loretta, We are so deeply saddened by this news. Know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I know it is hard to understand right now, but in HIS time He will make all things clear. Take time to grieve, that is so very important. Someone shared a quote with me several years ago that I want to share with you. "Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith ... It is the price of love." May God give you comfort and peace in the days to come.

Kassie and Nathan were friends and she would come home telling us of how they would joke and cut up in Mr. Dillard's class. She came home Friday telling us how he was doing back flips in class and scared her to death because he could them. Nathan will be missed by her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and all of his friends I pray the Lord helps you all through this.

I am so sorry for the loss of Nathan. I don't think there are any words that could be shared to bring healing to the void in your heart except Trust Jesus! Our Father tells us in his Word he will never leave us nor forsake. He will go with us even to the end. I am sure he has his arms wrapped around each of you right now. Just allow his peace that surpasses all of our understanding overtake you all. We are praying for all of you and we love y'all. Big hugs during this season in your lives. Tracy and Tim

I am Nathan's Children's Pastor. In August we had a back-to-school event, and I was doing face painting. None of the boys except Nathan and one other would let us paint their faces. I guess they thought they would get flowers or something. Nathan asked for a Spiderman face mask. It was a little intimidating to me because I was not used to doing face painting. But I gave it my best shot. Nathan looked awesome, and he was so proud of the way it turned out! This is one of my favorite memories. I am glad I spent the extra time with him that night. Along with that, I will always treasure the times we talked about Jesus. I am so glad to know that Nathan told me he had given his heart to the Lord. He really seemed to have a good grasp on what salvation through Christ means, especially for his young age. It is a comfort to me to know he loved the Lord, and I hope it will comfort his family in this tragic time.
