Nathan D. Meisner, 36, a lifelong resident of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Nathan was born on July 30, 1989, in Derry, New Hampshire, to Kurt and Gretchen (Horne) Meisner. He graduated from Salem High School, Class of 2007, and went on to earn his degree from Merrimack College in 2011. From a young age, Nathan worked alongside his dad in the family business, Meisner Brem Corporation, where he was a dedicated land surveyor.

While attending Merrimack College, Nathan met the love of his life and best friend, Courtney Gladu. They were married on August 27, 2022. They shared their lives in Salem with their dog Happy, who was a constant companion with Nate on many adventures.

Nathan was a member of the Merrimack Valley Umpires Association and formerly served as Director of the Millville Lake Protection Association. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, golfing, snowboarding, kayaking, and pond hockey. Nathan will always be remembered for his generous spirit, kind heart, fun-loving nature, and genuine personality.

Nathan is survived by his wife, Courtney Gladu; his parents, Kurt and Gretchen Meisner; his brothers, Zack Meisner and his wife Molly, and their son Kade, and Matt Meisner and his wife Erika; his parents-in-law, Edward and Patricia Turgeon; his siblings-in-law, Eddie, Tommy, and Sophia Turgeon; best man Greg Lorenz; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many cherished friends who will miss him dearly.

This was really sad to hear, I just found out today. My father Philip boutin, built their home in the 50s with us living in the basement while he worked on the house for a couple of years. And they're not that long ago when my mom needed to move to assisted living we sold the house to Nathan and his fiance. I popped in quite often to see how they were getting along, I dropped in when they were working on the septic system, putting a new roof on a couple years ago, found some old tax records for the property from the 50s and 60s I gave them. Really sweet people.
