Nathan Mihalko Obituary
Nathan Paul Mihalko, 28, Richland Twp. passed away on November 26, 2024. Born July 29, 1996, the son of Jeffrey and Dawn (Filat) Mihalko.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister Sarah Penatzer and husband Matthew; nephew Aaron Penatzer; Grandmother MaryAlice (Kirschman) Mihalko; Grandfather Albert Filat; beloved dog Bella, along with numerous aunts, uncles and extended friends and family.
Nathan now rests with his loving Bubba Sharon Filat; Grandfather David A. Mihalko, Sr.; and Aunt Amy Pribicko.
A graduate of Bloomsburg University, Nathan loved life and was active in BMX racing, one of his proudest moments is when he reached the goal of achieving Pro. His love for the sport developed at the early age of 5 when he started riding minibikes, he had a love for anything with wheels, cars, scooters, and bikes. He was a caring individual who enjoyed sharing and teaching BMX clinics for younger people and nurturing their love of the sport also. Nathan also had a love for swimming competitions, having competed in both high school, G.J.Y and at Bloomsburg University. Nathan cherished all the friendships he developed in all his activities.
There will be no public services. In remembrance of Nathan memorial donations in his memory to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.supporting.afsp.org

Nathan was one of my best friends. He had such a positive impact on his stream community, reaching tons of people around the world. Not a day goes by that I don´t miss him and not a day will go by that I don´t know wish I could speak to him one last time. He meant more to me than he will ever know.
