Cyril J. Hesse, 75, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, in the Osteopathic Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Cyril "Skip" Hesse was born on February 7, 1950, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, to Helen M. Hesse and Cyril B. Hesse.

He graduated from St. Clair High School and went on to earn his degree in Education from Bloomsburg University. Following graduation, Skip began his teaching career as a 6th grade educator in the East Pennsboro School District. He later transitioned to teaching 4th grade at West Creek Hills Elementary School, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2005. It was at West Creek Hills that he met the love of his life, his wife, Louise.

Skip is survived by his beloved wife, Louise, with whom he was looking forward to celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this coming February. He is also survived by his devoted daughter, Erin, to whom he dedicated his life with unwavering love and care. In addition, Skip leaves behind two stepchildren, Cris Graham and Annie Graham Watson, both of Harrisburg. He was a proud grandfather to Maya and Cristofer Graham, and Riley and Brady Fisher, all of whom brought him immense joy. Skip is also survived by his two brothers, Jerry and Mark Hesse.

A private memorial celebration will be held at a later date to honor Skip's life.
