Nathan Thomas Vogel came into this world on May 10, 1998 shortly after midnight on Mother's Day. This is a perfect example of his heart. He loved everyone with true compassion and tenderness. Even when he had nothing he would give the shoes off his feet to a stranger. He had a passion for music, art, poetry, and nature. He is the beloved son of Wendy and Danny Vogel. The sibling of Dan, Jackson, Luke(late) and Ella Vogel. The grandson of Tom and Teresa/Carol (late) Brader and Eileen and Val Vogel (late). The uncle of Eloise Vogel. And loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends. The reality is mental health is one of the hardest beasts to navigate. He fought. We fought. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the Freedom House, JeffCare (Dr. Lee) and many others for their care and support during this time. The family hopes that the entire system will continue to improve and better serve those in need. In honor of him fight for those who deserve a voice and above all love everyone with all you have. #mentalhealthmatters Friends and relatives of the family are invited and asked to please wear fun colors or your favorite musical festival shirt in celebration of his 27 years of life on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at The Vineyard Church of New Orleans, 4340 Sal Lentini Pkwy, Kenner, LA. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Celebration of Life Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. ""I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."" John 16:33 To share memories or condolences, please visit www.muhleisen.com
